Overview
NAVIS is a hybrid of a purpose-built Student Information System and a Moodle-based LMS for maritime and fisheries universities. Academic records live in the SIS; classrooms live in the world-standard LMS. One design language and one sign-in connect them.
Core capabilities
- Multi-tenancyInstitutional isolation is enforced on every record and proven by automated cross-tenant tests.
- Configurable academic rulesGraduation requirements, enrollment limits, grading scales, and student-ID patterns change by configuration, not code.
- Audit trailStatus changes, enrollment, and grade finalization are recorded in an append-only ledger (blocked at the database level).
- Three languagesIndonesian, English, Korean — screens and the LMS open in the same language.
- Unified sign-inOne SIS login reaches the LMS. Tokens never live in the browser (BFF).
- Per-institution brandingColors, names, and photography registered once apply to both SIS and LMS.
